HBK launches smart miniature force sensors
Like any forward-thinking engineer, you have been considering the benefits of smart technology and how it could profit your machine or process.
In a smart move, HBK miniature force sensors U9C (tension and compression) and C9C (compression) have gone digital and now offer an optional IO-Link interface. In fact, they’re ‘just’ smart versions of their tried-and-tested, popular analog counterparts.
The new option provides you with a bundle of features and advantages:
- Standard functions such as limit switches, peak detection, and statistics
- Integrated filters
- Linearization functions
- Signal monitoring with overload warnings

The new technology gives you control down to the field level and offers significant cost advantages. Of course, all HBK calibration services are also available for HBK sensors with IO LINK interface – from the factory calibration certificate to ISO376 calibration.
